Really has been a great plugin, so thanks! I am now using MaxCDN and I am wondering if it will continue to work? I know a lot of people are looking for this because when you CNAME your domain to MaxCDN systems, your .htaccess no longer is involved in security, except at the base URL. Will this block through Wordpress even if it is an attempted access to pages on MaxCDN?

The documentation does not say how to list a number of IP addresses. I am currently listing three - as below. Is this listing correct or should I just separate them using a semi-colon?
Net=79.142.68.99
Net=66.232.120.2
Net=203.165.28.109

Josh,

Nice plugin. Flexible and easy enough. Found it while searching for ip banning solution at client's request. I have two things two mention:

1. In the process of testing I locked myself out. At first I thought that you stored all the ip configs in the text file, but it wasn't there, so I kept looking and found the configs stored in the DB in wp_options table under jc_ipr_v_IPRestrictions option name. I give this info for other poor souls trying to unlock themselves.

2. The password bypass box did not show for me either.

Just FYI - I used the following config line:

Net=68.163.87.94|Mask=255.255.255.255|Password=123|Message=Busted!

Thanks for allowing us to use your plugin! Cheers!

Thank you Josh for this. It solved a particular comment spammer that was too stupid to realize that I was always deleting his comments. Now I am saving this guy the embarrassment of not knowing a thing about blogs and the way they work.

Hi Josh

Just wanted to say a HUGE thanks for this. None of the other spam blockers work either because they are for comments or against spambots, but we had started getting several registrations per minute from a few IP addresses. Having blocked these it's gone blissfully quiet!

Of course we'll need to keep on top of the address list but it's saved a lot of time. I also like the password bypass option, which as you point out above, is clearly in the notes section along with all the other instructions necessary.

On a personal note I think it's sad that some people feel the need to have a crack at free software and I applaud you for responding. Obviously some people don't 'get' free software. I'll see what I can do to get you that elusive donation ;-) !!

Mette: I guess without seeing any of your configuration I can't really help out. Would it be okay with you if I could log into your wordpress site as an admin?

Josh: The IP adresses are beeing blocked. My problem is that “password bypass box” is not beeing displayed.

As I wrote before I use this line:
Net=131.165.63.132|Password=kmd2013|Message=You’ve been blocked!

Mett: Is this the IP address you are trying to block? I'm confused - are non of the IP addresses you are trying to block being blocked or only one?
