Hello.

My request would be an option to change the name "Dashboard Links" for other text.

Thanks, great plugin!

Very handy little plugin, but I have a small problem.
I have V0.79 installed, but it's showing the Dashboard links to subscriber level users, is there a way I have missed to only show the links for Administration users.

WP Level 3.1.2

Hey Melvin,

Well, as you know the "visit site" link is coded into WordPress although if your users don't know it's a link they won't use it. What you could do is create an internal link pointing to your blog's main URL and display it using the Dashboard Links plugin. Thoughts?

Hello Josh
I notice on your dashboard the following
"Joshcook.net visit site

I would like to put the visit site on my users dashboard including the (subscribers dashboard) so that they will know how to get back to the home page. Clicking on my RV Bloggers Online in the admin or user dashboard will do it, But most do not realize that it is a link. the visual visit site could be called return to home or just home. How can I do this. I have looked and looked. I have your dashboard links but that will not do what I want. any help or advise would be appreciated.

Hey works great in 3.0.1!

My only request would be an option to display (or not) the link description under the link itself ;)

Thanks for your work!

Hello Josh,

It seems this plugin behaves slightly different than intended on (at least) WP 2.9.1 and 2.9.2; the box / widget / window (I'm unsure about the vocabulary here) with links is shown to both admins and subscribers. A quick
"if ( !current_user_can ( 'level_10' ) ) { return; }" at the beginning of jc_dbl_f_DashboardDisplay() will at least empty the box, but it would of course be nicer to have it completely hidden.
Do you intend to ever upgrade / fix this? I've never done any WP plugin coding, so I'm unsure if I could get it fixed myself.

Very nice plugin, thank you!

Sergey:
By design this is the way the plug-in is supposed to work; only showing the dashboard links to administrators who are logged in.
